For my 58th birthday, the Amazon hikers and climbers hosted a big surprise luncheon for me. They are amazing: Julie climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa. Marilyn [link] is a professional mountain climber. Robin just climbing Mt. Whitney at 14,500 feet. Maria is in boot camp. I was on a hike with Robin that morning on May 16. She told me we needed to finish by 11, which was unusual since she is not usually time-driven. When we got to the bottom of the mountain, she suggested we go to our usual coffee shack. I said, OK, but thought she was on a time schedule. Then, she drove past the coffee shack. I asked her what's she's doing. She said she changed her mind and wanted to go to Home restaurant. I then said OK, but we're dirty, sweaty, and I'm wearing really short-shorts and I'm dirty. She told me they would not throw me out because I have great legs.
