Another View from Half-Dome

I hiked and climbed 17 miles and went up to over 8800 feet altitude to Half-Dome in Yosemite to get this photograph. This photograph is an update from the previous one I took in June 2007 with a Sony camera. I stood at exactly the same spot in June 2009 with my Nikon 300 SLR and updated it. This time, the mountains have snow on them.

Wow, Andy! This is some incredible scenery and sky. I hope to get shots like this myself one day.

Andy this is a great shot. That is a long way to travel on foot as well. 17 miles...man. Thanks for the great share.

The hiking was worth it. Looks so beautiful. But what I hate about the climbing is going DOWN. :dizzy:

Don't let anybody put you down. If you see someone better than you, be inspired and don't quit. We may never be as good as them, but we each have our own technique we're good at..... Keep drawing.
