Wow....what a golden capture! I've taken a lot of flights high up over water for years, but have never see it look like that! So glad you remembered to grab your camera Andy! I knew why I faved this in the first place! It deserved another comment!
on Golden Ocean. It's a golden rule for me to always take my camera with me on any trip. If the plane were going to crash, I'd probably take pictures on the way down to impact so the recovery team could find them! [link]
Very welcome! I'd probably do the same! My smaller camera goes with me everywhere and I take the larger one for scheduled trips/shoots. Does Barbara do photography?
My two smaller camera kicked the bucket. Now, I always have to take my SLR along with me. It's like carrying a brick. Barbara seems to have zero interest in taking photos. Her two hobbies are keeping her two friends happy — Gary and Yvonne.
Sorry to hear about your smaller camera! I know what you mean...my Canon SX-20 is what they call a "bridge" camera - has some of the ease of the point and shoot cameras with many of the functions of of DSLR - but it's like carrying a brick...well a little smaller! Like they say "different strokes for different folks". My son has always been interested in photography and now his 11 year old is really interested and got a great camera (not a cheap point & shoot) for Xmas. Hopefully, the 3 of us will get out together this summer and do "a shoot"!
