Japanese Flower Arrangement

I found this Japanese flower arrangement at a Japanese sakura festival.

[link] Ikebana (生花?, "arranged flower"[1]) is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, also known as kadō (華道?, the "way of flowers"). This particular flower is a Forsythia.

it's a beautiful shot! i just wonder, when was it taken, because the yellow Forsythia blossoms in the springtime (well, at least in my country)

The Ikebana was taken Apr 18, 2009. Forsythia blossoms in the US in the spring as well. Thank you very much for the fave!
