Really great photo but...I swear I've had a dream of a house that looks like that. I must have had a past life in that era. Speaking of old homes...South Pasadena has a lot of nice Victorian houses.

Yes. Last weekend, I toured the Gamble house in Pasadena. From there, I went to visit the Victorian homes in Heritage Square in Highland Park. My next book is on reincarnation.

You are writing a book about reincarnation?

Yes. Children under three years of age have a tendency to remember past lives. After that, they start to forget.

Wow, I wonder if I thought like that. Then again, it's like you said...after that age they forget, so of course I would have no memory (if I did have memories before 3 years old). Reincarnation is interesting yet at the same time, it scares me. I actually don't like the fact that I might have been somebody else in the past & even in the future. Although the soul is the same, at the same time...I don't feel like it will be me. I want to go to heaven (if I'm lucky enough to) as myself...as I am now in this lifetime. But who really knows. Sometimes I believe that reincarnation happens when we don't get our life right (in our current lifetime) and until we do, we will be reincarnated. All I know is that I have deja vu feelings & sometimes these really odd familiar feelings of a past life, sometime around the turn of the century (early 1900's).

From my experience, all we take with us is our soul, which is pure love. Memories and baggage are left at the door.
I don't see how reincarnation would work. How memories could be transported boggles my imagination.

Nice picture. I know that tour guide. I know that house. I was stationed in front of it last month during MOTA day. I like the angle, most people don't try for interesting angles and the Shaw House is a perfect candidate for interesting angles. Good job!

i have this problem, it's called, "i can't come up with anything cool to say at the bottom of the page."

I highly appreciate your nice and complimentary comment. It was a challenge to bring something different to something which most likely has been photographed thousands of times. Thank you.

Miracles happen every second of our lives. You just have to be aware enough to see them.
