I walked everywhere in Matsumoto Japan. It's a lovely small city. In fact, I enjoyed it because of its tranquility. It's a sharp contrast to Tokyo, which is like a swarming beehive of never-ending activity. I found the door open to this private house and took a photo.

Traditional Japanese interiors are so captivating. They're so very unlike what we're used to on the other side of the world. I love how unfussy, uncluttered and neutral they are.
