Sturtevant Falls
This morning, July 13, 2008, my wife, Barbara, and I went to Mt. Wilson. (Take the Santa Anita excit off the 210 in Arcadia, California.) Aside from the wonderful hike and company, my secondary goal was to improve on the photo I had taken the prior month. We parked at Chantry Flats. and hiked few miles on Gabrielino Trail which parallels Winter Creek. It's a thick and lush forest. The hike pays off with a view of Sturtevant Falls. On, June 28, 2008, my hiking buddy, Vicky, and I had hiked this same place and I took some photos. [link] Here is a Shutterfly gallery of this hike plus some previous ones. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
